新銳藝術展 ARTFN Contemporary Exhibition：

陳建志—玻璃創意工法 Jian-zhi Chen- Innovative Glass craft

王姿云—熊熊異想世界 Zi-Yun Wang Eiku’s Enchanted World

陳建志（以氧化與還原創造了藝術）

早期北埔山裡盛產白沙，白沙是製作玻璃的最初原物料，一台一台的白沙從北埔洗沙場出發，經由竹東玻璃廠加工，創造的藝術品行銷國外，研發生活玻璃，遍布全國。

事過變遷，我們在北埔忠恕堂，邀請玻璃工藝家陳建志老師，將一件一件以玻璃完成的創作，在玻璃產業原生地北埔的古蹟裡發表以（氧化與還原）為依歸的玻璃藝術展演。

Jian-Zhi Chen (Art is processed through oxidation and reduction)

The Beipu Mountains were once known for abundant white sand, a key ingredient for making glass. This sand was then processed at the Zhudong Glass Factory, the resultant glass artworks gained international recognition, contribution to the nationwide growth of glass crafting. The involvement of Jian-Zhi Chen, a skilled glass craftsman, in creating glass art based on oxidation and reduction adds an artistic and cultural dimension to the legacy of the glass industry in Beipu. This art exhibition at Beipu Zhongshu Hall provides a unique opportunity to showcase the intersection of history, craftsmanship, and artistic expression.

王姿云（走回童年邁向未來的發表藝術）

兒時全家常來，游走北埔老聚落，數年後再度游走北埔，已經從芝加哥藝術學校畢業，準備前往下個階段創作前進。

王姿云離開北埔前，我們邀請她，將這幾年的創作拿回這個充滿回憶，又有趣的古蹟作首度發表展演，王姿昀欣然答應，這個以（過去現在未來）為主題的藝術插畫陶藝展演。

王姿云畫裡的熊熊名叫Eiku，是一隻從月球來到古蹟裏的小熊，Eiku說在古蹟裡，只要用心，就可以感知到，Eiku來自月球的異想世界，和手上的擂茶及柿餅。

Zi-Yun Wang (Revisit the childhood, Advancing towards the future Exhibition)

As a child Zi-Yun Wang and her family often likes to travel to Beipu. Years later, after graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she returned to this place, ready to move on to her next phase of art career. Before departing Beipu, we invited her to showcase her Chicago creation at this memorable historic monument, marking her first exhibition. Zi-Yun Wang uses the theme of “Past, Present, Future” to feature her artwork of Paintings and ceramic. The character in her artwork is named “Eiku”, Eiku is a pink bear traveled from a fantasy world, Eiku claimed that within this history monument observers can sense the origins from the fantasy world.
