"The warmth of the glass comes from the heat of the flame and the depth of the memory—"

In this cross-border cooperation exhibition, we will bring the time and memory contained in the creation of glassblowing craftsman Chen Jianzhi into the Heshi United Business Space. Through the integration of traditional glass craftsmanship and modern design fields, we present a unique visual and emotional space, bringing viewers a deep dialogue about creation and environment.

The exhibitor Chen Jianzhi uses glass as a medium, and through the process of melting and cooling, he condenses stories into each work. Each work is a concrete expression of a piece of history and emotion, and also interweaves his memories of the past and expectations for the future.

The first series of the exhibition is inspired by the daily scenes of glass kilns, capturing the creative perspective of craftsmen facing high-temperature flames. The red light and heat waves of the kiln are like a small sun, which is a great challenge to vision and physical fitness. However, these difficulties are the source of creative vitality. Chen Jianzhi truly reproduces this focus and tension against high temperatures in his works, allowing viewers to glimpse the moment when art was born and feel the enthusiasm and tenacity behind the craft. The second series transforms the image of the high temperature of the kiln into daily objects, using glass that never fades to symbolize the flame that never goes out in the kiln. The design of the works is full of creativity and a perspective that jumps out of the framework. It is not only a tribute to the craft itself, but also integrates art into life, allowing viewers to experience the warmth and power of glass in daily use.

The exhibition venue, Heshi United Business Space, is a place that combines modern design with a professional atmosphere, providing a functional and artistic display platform for this exhibition. The space deliberately incorporates the decorative elements of Taiwan's traditional "Begonia Glass", naturally integrating Chen Jianzhi's glass works with the space design, presenting a mutual echo between tradition and modernity.

The exhibition will be held at the "Heshi Joint Business Space" from December 30, 2024 (Monday) to March 28, 2025 (Friday). Since the space is a private space and cannot be opened to the public, customers who want to collect the works are welcome to order the works on display through the official website. The works will be reserved after payment, so please seize the opportunity to collect them.

We hope that this exhibition can become a bridge, and inspire a deeper understanding of aesthetics, life and creativity through the dialogue between art and space. Through the in-depth exploration of humanities and craftsmanship, let art take root here, and turn the warmth of flames and memories into more possibilities in life. We also look forward to the possibility of interacting with various spaces in the future, so that art and life can be integrated together.
