The "Break, Tea, and Tea Ceremony" special exhibition starts with the culture and spatial imagination of tea, and invites more than 60 craftsmen from national treasures to cutting-edge creators to exhibit nearly 200 works, covering craft masterpieces of various types and materials. Through the exquisite works made by craftsmen themselves, you can immerse yourself in the moments of brewing tea, tasting tea, and tea ceremony, and enjoy a rich life.
Regarding "tea", in Eastern culture and even in the Chinese world, it has gradually developed from a common diet to a representative humanistic art. It is not only the "tea art" related to tea making, such as brewing tea and tasting tea, but also the "tea ceremony" with tea as the protagonist to set up tables and places. Through the life aesthetics of the tea ceremony host himself, various tea sets, tea towels, accessories, ornaments, hanging scrolls, etc. are used to decorate a happy world, bringing people aesthetic experience and enjoyment of literary atmosphere.
Under the theme of "Tea's Diverse Appearances", this exhibition brings together crafts of different styles and skills from artists of different generations. From the delicate and exquisite works of craftsmen to the creative and unrestrained works of the new generation that break away from tradition, it not only shows the rich tea ceremony style, but also gives a glimpse into the abundant creativity of Taiwanese craftsmen.
