Exhibition Introduction
"How Well Done is Glass - Contemporary International Art Exhibition" is not only an artistic feast, but also a profound reflection on the nature of materials. We usually apply the concept of "how well done" to cooking, but in this exhibition, it becomes a metaphor for the heating and forming of glass, showing the artist's deep understanding and innovative exploration of the material of glass.
This exhibition brings together 23 outstanding artists from Taiwan and Japan. The artists use glass as a medium, not sticking to any established techniques, to show their unique understanding and imagination of glass. The works range from practical utensils to abstract art creations, which is not only a tribute to the aesthetics of life, but also a praise of nature and biology, as well as an unremitting pursuit of art itself.
By rethinking glass, artists challenge traditional frameworks and combine various materials such as ceramics, resin clay, metal, enamel, prints, wood, etc. with glass to create new possibilities, making life artistic and art life-like.
Through the exhibition, we hope to subvert the public's traditional impression of glass and enhance the viewer's perception of beauty. This exhibition is not only a cultural event, but also a dialogue of the mind and a fusion of the soul.
