April new exhibition Chen Jianzhi glass creation exhibition
In April this year, several series of works were exhibited at Zhimei Shiguang. This space was formerly the former residence of Professor Fang Dongmei, an old Japanese-style house that had been abandoned for a long time. From the construction records at the entrance, it can be seen that it was so abandoned that only the foundation was left, making it hard to imagine the difficulty of its construction.
I am deeply moved by the painstaking efforts to rebuild the historical building, restore the original structure, and create a tranquil Japanese-style garden. I am particularly honored to have the opportunity to exhibit here.
This exhibition features a set of 99 pieces called "Flower Town", which uses abstract glass flowers to express the feeling of the passing of seasons. It also displays all of the recent "Plum Vase" works, as well as wine glasses, wine pots, large and small flower vases, ring boxes, incense dishes and other modern daily utensils, totaling more than 200 exhibits, showing the artist's curiosity, passion and depth in exploring the world of glass.
The exhibition will last until 5/5. Please visit the Zhimei Shiguang fan page or call to make an appointment for a visit.
