Hsinchu glass craftsman @ccc.117 Chen Jianzhi is committed to traditional glass craftsmanship and taking a modern path. He has a curiosity and broad vision for life, people, and things, and integrates his own views into his works. Every time I hear Jianzhi share the glass factory culture and interesting things at work that we don’t usually get to know, I find it particularly interesting and shocking. I also pay tribute to his hard work in inheriting the glass craft. I hope that every collector can receive this kind of care from the craftsman.
This mini wineware exhibition brings a series of collection works including the "Hundred Mountains" sake cup inspired by Taiwan's mountain ranges, the "Big Tree" millet wine cup inspired by the giant trees in Zhenxibao, Hsinchu County, and the "Watching Smoke" sake cup inspired by the incense burners in Taiwan's temples.
Whether you are a wine lover or not, you should collect and appreciate the beauty of the glass from every angle, while experiencing the ideas and personality conveyed by the creator through the work.
